Aurora (meaning “sunrise” in Latin) was formed on 16 October 2006

Aurora, in its current form, is one of the longest-running end-content Horde guilds on the Realm. The founders, having had enough of drama and egotism in end-game raiding guilds, sought to create a social raiding guild where they could play with their friends and family in a relaxed, mature and friendly environment. We’d like to think we succeeded, too. Despite the laid-back atmosphere we take our raiding seriously. We do not enforce high attendance, meticulously specific talent specs,or insane gear standards…, but we do expect our members to put in effort towards achieving our collective goals. If you like the idea of the so called “purple train” and value loot, in any way, over fun and progressing as a team, you should probably look elsewhere.
